| The Bible We believe that the Bible is the authoritative, inerrant, complete (66 books), divinely inspired Word of God which defines the complete divine truth and reveals God's way of salvation. God We believe that God is one triune God—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, three distinct but not separate Persons who coexist equally from eternity to eternity. The person and work of Jesus Christ We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, became incarnated to be a sinless man, born of the Virgin Mary, that he might be our redeemer and Savior. The Lord Jesus died for our sins on the cross and then rose from the dead on the third day both spiritually and physically. He then ascended to heaven to be the Lord of all and is coming again in the future. God's full salvation We believe that the Spirit of God is the Spirit of Truth sent by the Lord Jesus according to John 16, that this Spirit convicts the world of its sins, leads mankind to believe and thereby be born anew, and continues to sanctify and transform the believers into the image of God's Son. The Church We believe that the eternal purpose of God is to build His church. This church is the one unique, spiritual Body of Christ, composed of every believer. However, we believe that the Body should not be divided by non-essential doctrinal differences or personal preferences, but rather express a sincere and practical oneness in every city. |
