FAQ
| The following is an attempt to cover Frequently Asked Questions by believers and non-believers, to help with their seeking and understanding of the Lord and His will. More questions and answers will arrive through time as this is an on-going effort. |
| Questions many new believers and non-believers ask... |
| Q: If God is good, why is there so much suffering? |
A: Much of human suffering arises from choices that we have made apart from God’s will. Your parents might be good, but that didn’t help when you pressed your hand on that hot stove. The Bible teaches that suffering can ultimately be traced to Satan and his rebellion. But God desires to use sufferings to save man through Jesus Christ. |
| Q: All religions are the same - isn't it so? |
A: Jesus said, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father except through me." Religions attempt to lead you to God. Yet Christ is God becoming a man, to bring God to you. He is different! |
| Q: How do you know that you are following God's will? |
A: To know God’s will, we must first know God Himself. There are four basic ways to know God and His will: 1) through His word, the Bible; 2) through His Spirit dwelling in your spirit; 3) through the fellowship with other believers; and 4) through understanding His working in our environment. Humans have a "conscience" that, more often than not, "nudges" you when you are NOT following God's will. |
| Q: What do you mean "in" the spirit? How does that feel? |
A: If one can feel being "in" the spirit, it is often a sense of peace and joy. Being in spirit leads us to love Christ and to be drawn to fellowship with other believers. Being in spirit produces the fruit of the Spirit, including love, joy, and peace. When we are in spirit we love to pray, sing, and rejoice to the Lord, and are hungry for the word of God. In short, you feel you were meant for this. |
| Questions many would like to ask the Lord... |
| Q: Lord, when are you coming back? The age is getting more and more degrading. Many Christians suffer and struggle, waiting for His return. We welcome His return! |
